Welcome to the NO -TA site.
This site is dedicated to people (most of us I assume) who are more than a little frustrated by the quality of our politicians. The recent expenses mess is only one from a list of scandals, big and small, that have brought most of us to the conclusion that the ruling classes are taking the 'proverbial' out of the rest of us.
So what to do?
NO - TA.com is NOT an anarchists website.
We recognise that the old adage about our system not being perfect but being as perfect as is possible is probably still true. Tempting though it is, there would be little point in getting rid of them all and starting again. Indeed there are a few politicians that can still hold their heads up high and claim the title 'honourable' and it would be silly to get rid of those.
Even if we did want to deselect all the dodgy ones it would be a year or so before this was possible.
However it is clear we need, as a nation, to send a very clear message to our leaders NOW.
Some people are suggesting that the upcoming MEP election is the chance to show our feelings by voting for parties other than the usual 3. However it is obvious that this would be a dangerous action to take as it could lead to parties such as the BNP making gains.

At NO - TA we are suggesting people spoil their ballot paper, but to do this in a way that does not simply waste an individual vote but in a way that creates a new political statement. If every one of us spoiled our ballot with the same NO - TA logo then the NO - TA becomes the statement.
